What is Penalty Superstar?

Penalty Superstar puts you in goal for six penalties, and you must stop at least four to continue. Every decision concerns where the goalkeeper stands, when to move, and whether the ball calls for a jump or a slide.

The first league gives you time to learn the arrows. Street and professional competition follow, with faster decisions required later. Penalty Superstar asks you to read the same side-and-height problem with less hesitation.

A pickup can make the goalkeeper giant for a short period. The larger body covers more of the goal, but the power-up does not repair poor positioning. Penalty Superstar still punishes a keeper who leaves the center too early or chases the pickup while the ball is travelling elsewhere.

How to play

Penalty Superstar uses the arrow keys. Left and right move along the line, up jumps, and down slides for low shots.

  1. Learn the keeper's reach. Use the opening practice shots to see how far a side movement, jump, or slide carries the goalkeeper. Penalty Superstar becomes easier to judge once each arrow has a known result instead of being pressed in combination.
  2. Start from the middle. Return near the center before the striker connects with the ball. A Penalty Superstar shot can go toward either post, and a central position keeps the first movement short. Drifting early gives one corner away before the direction is clear.
  3. Match one movement to the shot. Read the side first, then the height. Move left or right for the lane, jump when the ball is rising, and slide when it stays low. Penalty Superstar rewards a clean decision more often than several arrows pressed at once.

The four-save target

Four saves win the six-shot match. That number changes how a conceded goal should feel. One miss does not end the round, and it does not require a risky answer on the next penalty. Penalty Superstar gives you room to reset, return to the middle, and protect the remaining attempts.

Keep count without replaying the last mistake. Four stops complete the objective. If two shots have gone in, every remaining ball matters, but Penalty Superstar still asks for the next readable save.

Reading side and height

Direction and height arrive as two separate clues. Sideways movement answers where the ball is going across the goal. Jumping and sliding answer how high it will travel. Penalty Superstar feels unpredictable when these clues are collapsed into one panic input, because the keeper can reach the correct side in the wrong body position.

Watch the ball leave the striker before choosing the vertical action. A rising path calls for the jump. A shot close to the ground calls for the slide. When the ball remains at a reachable middle height, a lateral move may be enough. This sequence keeps Penalty Superstar decisions short without turning them into guesses.

  • Tap left or right after the lane becomes readable; holding a direction from the start can pin the keeper beside a post.
  • Leave the ground only for a rising ball. An early jump opens the low part of the goal for the rest of the shot.
  • Use the slide for a low path that also requires distance, rather than adding it to every sideways move.
  • After each attempt, move the goalkeeper back to the same central reference before reading the next striker.

When the giant goalkeeper helps

The giant-goalkeeper pickup increases the area that can meet the ball. It is most useful when the pickup already sits near the route of a sensible save. Crossing the goal to collect it creates a larger goalkeeper in the wrong place, which still leaves the intended corner open.

Treat the pickup as an advantage after positioning, not as a separate objective. Penalty Superstar continues the penalty while the item is visible. If the ball and the pickup demand opposite movements, defend the shot. A normal-sized save counts exactly the same toward the four-stop target.
